While some breeders choose to adjust pricing based on holiday seasons, colors, or genders, BarMor's offers consistent pricing all year long. What does this mean for our customers? Our pricing does not change for Christmas, Valentines, or any other holiday, and you won't pay more for a certain color or gender. We also do not discount our puppies, so you won't have to worry about the price dropping after you purchase yours.
All of our puppies are $1650.
Prior to the birth of a litter, the reserve list will be opened up on the nursery page of this site. To guarantee a puppy from that litter, a deposit is required, and you will be seeded on the reserve list in the order deposits were placed. At the time of birth, all persons on the reserve list will receive an e-mail stating the litter was born, along with a group picture of the litter. Approximately 7-10 days later, all persons on the reserve list will receive a link, in the order they were placed on the list, to a page that has multiple individual pictures of each puppy. At that time, you will have up to 24 hours to decide which puppy you would like. Any remaining puppies will be offered first to those with positions on our wait list. If you choose to purchase a puppy from an available litter, and additional $400 deposit will be required to secure your puppy. That, along with your wait list deposit, will be applied to the total cost of the puppy.
Any puppies remaining after wait listers have chosen, will then be posted on the nursery and available to the general public. If you choose to purchase after a litter becomes public, the deposit is still required to hold the puppy until the day of pickup. After that, any remaining puppies will not require a deposit, and must be paid in full on the date of purchase.
If you choose to pickup your puppy, we will inform you of the date you will be able to do so once the litter is born. Information will be posted on that litters "litter" page, and will be accessible until the day you pick up your puppy. If you are unable to pick your puppy up on the announced date, a $25/day boarding fee will be incurred after that. Please contact us ahead of time if you believe this will apply to you.
We do offer delivery, and if you choose to go this route, please let us know as far in advance as possible. We routinely deliver in New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Southern New Hampshire, Southern Vermont, and North Eastern Ohio. We are also willing to meet if you are coming from a point further away from those areas. Delivery fees are based on calculated mileage from our location, and will include any tolls incurred during the trip.
If you live outside of the northeast and would like to purchase a BarMor puppy, We have options available. We WILL NOT ship a puppy by via cargo air, however we will meet you at the airport (Rochester (ROC) International or Syracuse (SYR) Hancock International) for you to pick up your puppy, or offer an air nanny to bring your puppy to you. This assures the puppy will not only fly in the cabin of the plane, but also be well attended to in the event there is a layover, or missed flight during the trip. We are also willing to meet in one of the aforementioned states, if you are within a comfortable driving distance to meet us. Mileage fees will apply.
Our policy regarding visits:
We require potential customers pick their puppy from the website. We do not allow visits for puppy selection until after they have received their first immunizations. This is done to keep the puppies from being exposed to any foreign contaminants that could cause them to become sick while their immune systems continue to develop. After immunizations are complete, any remaining puppies can be visited with 48 hours advance notice.
We do not allow visits of our home or adults by potential customers. This this done to keep our adults free from exposure of any harmful germs that could be potentially brought into their environment. Customers who have purchased a puppy can visit with the mother of their pup upon pickup if they wish.
Customers who have already placed a deposit and selected their puppy can visit their puppy at any time after they have made a selection. However, at the time of the visit, you will not be allowed to make physical contact with your puppy. Again, this is to minimize potential exposure to any possible contaminants that may be brought into the puppies environment. This will also require a 48 hour advance notice.
Several breeders have experienced issues in the past year with sickness in their kennels, including Canine Brucellosis, which permanently shut down two facilities. The health of our puppies and adults comes before all else, so there will be no exceptions to this rule.
If you have any questions about anything not covered on this page, please contact us by phone or e-mail and we would be happy to discuss any details about the process!
